5 stars!!! Nick my mover was absolutely amazing to work with! I did a cross country move and he was very responsive and worked with me to get my things delivered in the right time that worked for me. He and his team moved my things in with no damage and am very grateful to hire him!

Manny B did an excellent job packing, moving and unpacking our three-bedroom condo for a cross-country move from Florida to Texas. Our furniture arrived in 2 days at our new home. He was extremely professional and took good care with our furniture. He disassembled bed frames etc. And reassembled them at our new house. I highly recommend using Manny for your moving needs.

First point of contact was very helpful. Jean Marc answered all of my questions and called me back promptly. He also helped me to easily change my inventory list as we got closer to the date.

Sampson and his team were very helpful! We appreciated their consistent communication and commitment to moving our belongings safely. Two of our more delicate tables broke in transit, but Sampson was very kind and ran out to get some industrial glue + repaired them before he left. Moving is never easy and things can break, but it’s important to have movers who will accommodate you if that happens. Just make sure you wrap your TVs and mirrors before they arrive to avoid any unexpected charges. If the movers have to disassemble any furniture for space purposes, they reassemble it at your new residence. Job # 1991308

Very very very very hard to get ahold of someone. The after hours number has no one answer and they have no VM!when they were going to be 6 hours late no one called me I had to call them. Also their inventory is hand written takes forever. Mayflower is way more efficient and is constantly checking on you.they added allot of stress. Thankful they ended up delivering yes but allot of missed chances to communicate w us.

The driver and crew were outstanding. The logistics and sales group were far from it. Logistics and customer service jerked us all over the place on delivery. Sales said no issues be there in 5 days. We have trucks going down 95 every day. In the contract they reserve the right to take 2 weeks. Expect they will use it no matter what they say they can do. After picking ip our furniture in Maryland they spent a week driving around the North East picking up / dropping off other peoples furniture before heading down to Florida. Customer service was useless to tell us anything except for we are within the window. Planning / logistics on a move is hard enough without the moving company making it harder. I just don’t understand why it is so hard to give a window of 48 hours once you pick up our stuff.
In summary, love the actual crew / truck that did the work, they were fantastic! Sadly, that was not enough for me to get past the way the corporate group treated us. Maybe all moving companies are this way but these guys are suppose to be the best in the business and in my opinion the company is far from it.

James from American van line is responsible for our move from dc to Arizona, he was super helpful and super efficient, helped wrapped all our furniture with thick blanket from DC and helped unloaded all items in our new home in Arizona, our home is split level so it was challenging to move heavy items like couches around, but James and Rey (who is based in Arizona) together managed to move all the items in place with care!

After gathering many quotes I was able to narrow it down to two companies. The other company did quote me lower however they were a broker and not the actual carrier so I decided to give American Van Lines a try. Jefferey and his team arrived earlier than expected pick up date which was perfect for my family.
